General Information

Juan Diego Botto is one of the most talented actors in Spain, as well as in Hollywood. He was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina on the 29th of August 1975. His family was eventually forced to move to Madrid, where he initially studied acting at his mother’s acting school. He continued honing his acting abilities by moving to New York. He made his debut appearance in the film “Juego de Poder” in 1982. Juan Diego Botto can be considered a “veteran” actor, since he started his career at the age of 5. He has worked in movie film productions, as well as theatre.

Awards

Juan Diego Botto was nominated for a Goya award for Best Leading Actor in 1992 and in 2006 for the films “Historias del Kronen” and “Vete de Mi” respectively.
